Davis Jewelers Remodels Louisville’s Largest Jewelry Store

After a year of work, the Davis family cut the ribbon on a remodeled and expanded Davis Jewelers to the cheers and toasts of hundreds of clients and friends at their Grand Reopening Bash in November.  Hank Davis built Louisville’s largest fine jewelry store in 2001 and the remodel was led by his daughter and company Vice President, Ashley Sigman. It includes a new Tudor Watch center, a new Rolex corner that includes a Rolex service department and an all new in-store David Yurman Boutique. Joining the ribbon cutting was also Louisville Basketball great and company spokesperson Luke Hancock, daughter Amy Davis and Hank’s father Arthur “Skip” Davis. Davis Jewelers has been with Freshley Media since 2012. Congratulations on a stunning new store!

Web traffic is up over last year by 26%!

Freshley Media’s Online Marketing  Director David LIne reports that web traffic for all our jewelers’ web sites is up 26.8% over last year going into the holiday season. Does this web traffic indicate there will be more traffic in your store?  While it’s no guarantee we do see a direct correlation between web traffic and overall store volume. This increases the more shoppable your site is, with real product and real pricing. Having a rich e-commerce style inventory and real prices is critical today if your web site is going to be viable. Our clients’ uptrend is a direct reflection of this strategy. If this traffic holds up I think sales will be up as well.

Building truly custom web sites is what sets Freshley Media apart.

Ask yourself this question. If your jewelry store is not cookie cutter why would you have a cookie cutter web site? The truth is most web site companies in the jewelry world are simply hustling the same template to jeweler after jeweler. Think about it. Shouldn’t your web site be a living, breathing extension of your store? Your web site should express your whole brand experience. For most people today your web site is their first impression of you. It IS your store. Only a true web design and development firm who knows fine jewelry, our industry, and is just as passionate about as you are, should be doing your web site.
